Mukran LNG Terminal Resumes Operations After Icebreaker Efforts in Baltic Sea
NATURAL GAS
The Mukran LNG terminal in Germany has resumed operations after icebreaking efforts cleared the access channel. The multipurpose vessel Neuwerk initially faced technical issues but was supported by the tug VB Bremen Fighter to restore navigation.
LNG carriers Maran Gas Nice and Minerva Amorgos were affected by heavy sea ice, with the former departing on February 11 and the latter expected to be escorted in by February 16. The terminal has faced record low gas storage levels due to disruptions.
