Navy Constructs Housing for 62 Naval Personnel to Alleviate Accommodation Crisis in Bonny

DEFENSE

The Eastern Naval Command has completed new housing for 62 senior Naval Ratings in Bonny, Rivers State, to address an accommodation crisis. Commissioned on January 14, 2026, by Rear Admiral Chidozie Donald Okehie, the project was led by Commodore Emmanuel Fingesi and aims to enhance the welfare and infrastructure for personnel critical to security and technical mentorship roles.
