New Philippine Army Base Camp Construction Begins in Botolan, Zambales

The Philippine Army is set to construct a new base camp in Barangay San Juan, Botolan, Zambales, with a budget of P260 million secured by Rep. Doris Maniquiz. The facility will include administrative and living quarters, a motor pool, and a multipurpose hall.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place on February 20, 2026, with support from various military and government officials. The project is part of the Tikas Program aimed at improving military infrastructure.
