In 2026, Nigeria's Ministry of Defence will receive N3.154 trillion for military modernization and national security enhancement, with N2.39 trillion allocated for personnel costs across the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The budget includes N464.5 billion for capital expenditure on military assets and infrastructure upgrades, while specific allocations include N1.5 trillion for the Army, N443.9 billion for the Navy, and N407.1 billion for the Air Force.
