Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, highlighted the depot's potential to increase recruitment opportunities for local youths and improve military infrastructure distribution. This facility marks the third training depot for the Army, joining those in Zaria and Osogbo, as part of efforts to address security challenges and foster regional development.
