The Nigerian Army's 12 Brigade has rescued 14 kidnapped victims in Kogi State during operations against local terrorists. The rescue followed an assault on a terrorist camp in the Adonkolo/Kakanda Forest, where troops recovered weapons and documents.

One rescued victim was a soldier abducted while traveling. Troops also engaged fleeing terrorists in follow-up ambushes and rescued additional victims from another kidnapping incident along the Okene-Onyukoko road.
