Nigerian Navy and NIMASA Enhance Collaboration on Hydrography and Wreck Removal

The Nigerian Navy is enhancing its collaboration with the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) to improve hydrographic operations and navigation safety in Nigerian waters. Rear Admiral Abdullahi Mustapha highlighted the integration of NIMASA's C4i Centre with the Navy's Falcon Eye system and the introduction of two hydrographic vessels to aid in wreck identification and removal.
NIMASA's Director General, Dr. Dayo Mobereola, emphasized the importance of maritime security in supporting the government's economic diversification efforts.
