Noida International Airport to be India's First IGBC-Certified Green Airport

Noida International Airport (Jewar) is set to become India's first IGBC-certified green airport, developed in partnership with Zurich Airport Group. The airport will incorporate solar power, electric mobility, and advanced waste management systems, with features such as a solar farm generating 51,966 MWh of renewable energy and dedicated electric vehicle parking. Additionally, it will implement rainwater harvesting and a Renewable Natural Gas plant to enhance sustainability, supported by an environmental monitoring plan to ensure compliance with green standards.
