North Ridgeville City Council Approves Cost Increase for Mills Creek Project

The North Ridgeville City Council has approved an amendment raising the design services cost for the Mills Creek Conservation and Flood Control Project from $507,500 to $665,200, citing complications from a high-pressure gas line and necessary federal permits. The project, which aims to mitigate flooding and create a park, requires redesign efforts mandated by FirstEnergy and the U.S.

Army Corps of Engineers. An emergency clause was also approved to ensure work proceeds without interruption.
