Northrop Grumman has secured a contract from the Space Development Agency to develop integrated missile warning and tracking satellites for the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) mission, which aims to enhance U.S. space superiority. The satellites will monitor hypersonic weapons and provide crucial targeting data for interceptors, with the first tranche-1 satellites set to launch in Q1 2026. Currently, 150 satellites are in production as part of this initiative.
