NUBURU Inc. has acquired Italian laser manufacturer Lyocon S.r.l. to enhance its blue laser business, tapping into a global industrial laser market valued over $20 billion. The acquisition will enable NUBURU to expand into various sectors, including defense and security, with Lyocon's governance led by Dario Barisoni as Chairman and Executive Director. Lyocon is set to showcase its technology at the SPIE Optics & Photonics exhibition in San Diego in August 2026.
