Oerlikon AM Expands Suppressor Production Using ATLIX Technology

Oerlikon AM, based in Switzerland, is scaling production of end-of-barrel suppressors for firearms using ATLIX technology. In June 2025, the company manufactured over 25,000 suppressors with MetcoAdd nickel powder on ATLIX TruPrint machines.

Oerlikon doubled its TruPrint fleet, becoming a leading contract manufacturer in North America. The company plans to install a TruPrint 5000 machine in Charlotte, North Carolina, to enhance production capacity amid rising demand in the defense sector.
