OleeSpace has developed a wireless laser communication system that achieves 10GBPS over a 20km range in just four months, aiming to provide a cost-effective alternative to traditional fibre optic cables for defense applications. With ₹27 crore in funding, the start-up has conducted field tests with the Indian Navy and Air Force and plans to target 100 Gbps bidirectional systems by 2027 while expanding manufacturing in India and Vietnam. The company intends to deploy over 10,000 optical laser nodes across India.
