OpenGate Capital has completed the sale of ScioTeq, specializing in ruggedized displays for aviation and defense, to Tikehau Capital's aerospace and defense fund. OpenGate retains a minority position and will support ScioTeq's growth.

This sale follows OpenGate's acquisition of ScioTeq from TransDigm Group in 2021. Under OpenGate, ScioTeq executed strategic initiatives, including establishing Treality as an independent entity, enhancing its leadership team, expanding its global sales organization, and advancing MicroLED and Mini LED technologies for military applications. The partnership with Tikehau Capital is expected to facilitate ScioTeq's market access and product portfolio expansion.
