DEFENSE
Pakistan's Navy is set to expand its fleet to 50 ships, including 20 major surface combatants and 30 additional vessels, to enhance maritime security and counter India's naval capabilities. This initiative, part of a long-term development program, aims to secure vital sea lines of communication and improve port security, crucial for the nation's sea-based trade. The plan also includes the acquisition of Type 39B submarines from China to bolster undersea warfare capabilities.
