Pensacola's 'Project Maeve' has received an 'A' rating from economist Dr. Rick Harper, with a $76 million grant request promising to generate 2,000 jobs and $2.55 billion in household income over the next decade.

The project, which includes a new 400,000 sq ft shipbuilding facility, requires $105 million for construction and $145 million for equipment, with an average salary projected at $80,000, supported by the U.S. Navy's Maritime Industrial Base Program. Initial backing is sought on January 28.
