Philippine Army Orders 15,626 DSAR-15 Carbines from South Korea for Php752 Million

The Philippine Army has contracted the purchase of 15,626 DSAR-15 5.56mm carbines from South Korea for approximately Php752 million, awarded to Dasan Machineries with local partner United Defense Manufacturing Corporation. This procurement, funded by the Fiscal Year 2024 General Appropriations Act, aims to enhance the army's capabilities and follows a competitive bidding process that concluded in December 2025.
