PLN UID East Java is leveraging virtual reality technology to enhance the monitoring of renewable energy power plants through its initiative, 'the Virtual Journey to Green Power.' This allows for centralized oversight of facilities like the Benowo Waste-to-Energy Power Plant and the Ijen Geothermal Power Plant, facilitating real-time evaluation and maintenance. PLN aims to increase the region's renewable energy capacity and ensure 24-hour electricity on inhabited Madura islands by 2027.
