Poland Achieves Record Gas Consumption and Exports to Ukraine Surge 13-Fold

Poland reported record gas consumption, with domestic demand reaching 102.8 million cubic meters and total gas transmission exceeding 3 billion cubic meters in January 2026, a 45% increase from the previous year. Exports to Ukraine surged 13-fold in 2025, totaling 2 billion cubic meters, while daily exports currently stand at around 10 million cubic meters. Future infrastructure developments, including a new floating LNG terminal in Gdańsk, are set to enhance the national transmission capacity.
