NATURAL GAS

Poland's BGK bank has secured a loan of 2.2 billion PLN ($593 million) for Gaz-System to build a 250 km pipeline linking the country's first floating LNG storage and regasification terminal in the Gulf of Gdańsk. The EU-funded project is set for completion by 2028 and will enhance Poland's gas network, following the recent expansion of the LNG terminal in Świnoujście, which increased its regasification capacity to 8.3 billion cubic meters.
