Poland is set to establish a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) LNG terminal, with a consortium comprising GAP Insaat, FABE Polska, and UNITEK Insaat overseeing its construction. The project will include a dedicated mooring facility, subsea pipeline, and an artificial island, enhancing Poland's gas supply security with a capacity to receive up to 6 billion cubic meters of gas annually. The FSRU unit will be chartered from South Korea, and rigorous quality control measures will be implemented throughout the construction process.
