NATURAL GAS
The Jantar Unity, Poland's largest domestic ferry, completed its first month of service on the Baltic Sea route from Świnoujście to Trelleborg, carrying 3,300 trucks and over 3,600 drivers. Supported by a government investment of one billion zlotys, the ferry is designed for heavy freight and operates with LNG engines for reduced emissions.
Although passenger numbers are modest, Unity Line anticipates growth as awareness increases. The ferry completed 22 round trips in its first month, emphasizing the importance of ferry services for freight transport to Scandinavia.
