PRAGATI, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiative for efficient governance, held its 50th meeting to review the Ennore-Thiruvallur-Bengaluru-Puducherry-Nagapattinam-Madurai-Tuticorin Natural Gas Pipeline project. Launched in 2015 and executed by Indian Oil Corporation Limited, the project aims to improve natural gas access across Southern India, spanning approximately 1,400 km with a capacity of 84.67 Million Metric Standard Cubic Metres per Day, although progress has been hindered by land acquisition and environmental clearance issues.
