President Nominates Military Leaders for Key Positions Across U.S. Armed Forces
The President has nominated several military leaders for key positions: Air Force Gen. John D. Lamontagne as vice chief of staff, U.S.
Air Force; Army Lt. Gen. Joshua M.
Rudd as director of the NSA and commander of U.S. Cyber Command; Army Lt. Gen.
Patrick M. Frank as deputy commander, U.S. Central Command; and Air Force Lt.
Gen. Linda S. Hurry as commander, Air Force Materiel Command.
Additional nominations include Air Force Maj. Gen. Joel L.
Carey for commander, Fifth Air Force; Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Lorna M.
Mahlock as deputy commander, U.S. Cyber Command; and various brigadier generals appointed across multiple states and commands. Nominees are currently serving in significant roles, indicating a continuity of leadership within the U.S. military structure.
