Qatar's Golden Visa: $200,000 for Temporary and $1 Million for Permanent Residency

NATURAL GAS

Qatar's Golden Visa program, launched in September 2020, offers global investors a pathway to residency through real estate investment. With two investment tiers, a minimum of USD 200,000 provides a renewable temporary residence permit, while USD 1 million secures permanent residency.

Investments must occur in designated areas like The Pearl-Qatar and Lusail City. Applicants must be 21+, hold a valid passport, and present clean criminal records and health certificates. Permanent residency additionally requires proficiency in Arabic and a state fee.

The program supports family integration, offering access to national healthcare. Qatar's economy, bolstered by LNG exports and zero income tax, presents strong rental yields and property appreciation. The program is regulated by the Ministry of Interior and maintains an annual quota for permanent residency, ensuring exclusivity and demographic balance.
