Quantum Art Secures $100M in Series A Funding to Advance Quantum Computing Technology

QUANTUM COMPUTING

Quantum Art has raised $100 million in a Series A funding round led by Bedford Ridge Capital, increasing total funding to $124 million. The investment will accelerate the commercialization of its trapped-ion quantum computing platform and the development of its Perspective system, which aims for 1,000 qubits and quantum advantage.

The funding will also support prototyping of the company's next-generation 2D architecture designed for thousands of qubits. Quantum Art has demonstrated a 200-ion controlled chain and is collaborating with NVIDIA on circuit efficiency improvements. The company, spun off from the Weizmann Institute in 2022, plans to expand its team and strengthen partnerships to enhance its scalability and performance in quantum computing.
