QuantWare Unveils VIO-40K Quantum Processor Architecture for 10,000 Qubits

QuantWare has introduced the VIO-40K quantum processor architecture, capable of supporting systems with up to 10,000 superconducting qubits, significantly surpassing previous limitations. The new design, featuring a 3D chiplet architecture, will be produced at the Kilofab facility in Delft, set to open in 2026, with shipments anticipated by 2028. This advancement positions QuantWare as the largest commercial quantum hardware provider, enhancing integration with classical supercomputing through compatibility with NVIDIA NVQLink.
