Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group Launches Citadel Campus and Six Indigenous Defence Systems in India
Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group has launched the Citadel Campus at Hardware Park near Hyderabad, significantly enhancing India's defence manufacturing capabilities. The facility, backed by an investment exceeding ₹100 crore, focuses on advanced design, production, and systems integration.
It aims to support the development of six indigenous unmanned and autonomous defence platforms, including jet-powered munitions and ground vehicles, designed for various missions with operational ranges exceeding 300 km. The group operates 10 manufacturing sites across India, the US, and the UK, employing over 1,000 people.
To further bolster indigenous development, Raghu Vamsi signed four Memorandums of Understanding, including partnerships with the Indian Army for drone technology and Bharat Dynamics Limited for engine development. A large manufacturing complex is also planned, with an investment of ₹300 crore, expected to generate over 2,000 jobs by 2029.
