Raytheon to Begin Production of PhantomStrike Radar for FA-50 and US Air Force Aircraft

DEFENSE

Raytheon will begin production of the PhantomStrike lightweight fire control radar later this year, with pre-production deliveries underway for Poland's FA-50 fighters. The radar, designed for uncrewed platforms, offers a lower price, power requirement, and footprint compared to existing systems, and will also be installed on the US Air Force's X-62 VISTA aircraft. Production is expected to start in the first half of 2026, with potential contracts in discussion across Asia, Europe, and the USA.
