Raízen has launched four new second-generation ethanol production plants in São Paulo, utilizing Penetron technology for enhanced durability against the ethanol conversion environment. Each facility aims to produce approximately 82 million liters of cellulosic ethanol annually, with investments between R$ 1 billion and R$ 1.2 billion. The company plans to standardize designs to streamline costs and construction, with a goal of adding 20 more E2G plants by 2030.
