Red Post Energy Group, Inc. and Wise Innovation Hub Venture LLC have signed a Letter of Intent to collaborate on a power supply solution for a major technology and data center hub in Wise County, Virginia. The Maverick Project aims for a power capacity of up to 600 megawatts (MW), starting with an initial phase of 100 MW.

The collaboration will involve evaluating power supply options, including onsite natural gas generation and potential natural gas pipeline infrastructure, in partnership with Enbridge. The initiative aligns with Virginia's economic development goals, positioning Wise County as a destination for technology investments and supporting phased expansions as new data center users are engaged.
