Redlands City Council Approves $961K Upgrade for Landfill Gas System
NATURAL GAS
The Redlands City Council has approved a $961,500 upgrade for the landfill gas system at the California Street Landfill and Wastewater Treatment Plant, responding to outdated equipment that fails to meet current emissions standards. The new ultra-low-emissions flare system will ensure compliance with federal and regional air quality regulations and is expected to be completed within 26 to 52 weeks. John Zink Company, LLC has been awarded the contract following a request for proposals issued by the city.
