Renault SA is set to reintegrate its Ampere electric vehicle and software operations due to lower-than-expected EV demand, reversing its previous strategy to list the unit on the stock market. This decision follows discussions with labor unions aimed at streamlining the company's structure and enhancing decision-making. The reorganization, which will position Ampere as an engineering center focused on software and EVs, is expected to be completed by July 1, 2024.
