Renewable Ventures Nordic to Acquire Xer Tech AB, DelMar Aerospace Orders X8 Drone System
On November 11, 2025, Renewable Ventures Nordic AB entered a binding agreement to acquire Xer Tech AB through a reverse acquisition. Xer Tech specializes in hybrid electric UAVs for defense and civilian applications.
DelMar Aerospace Corporation has purchased an X8 drone system for approximately SEK 1.4 million after a successful operational lease and field testing with Perspectum Drone Inspection Services in Canada. The order includes the commercial version of the X8 without payloads and a spare engine.
The X8 was initially leased for three months, supporting methane-detection missions in Western Canada. Xer Tech has integrated the Sierra Olympia Optical Gas Imaging sensor into the X8, enhancing its capabilities for diverse inspection tasks. Recent Canadian regulatory updates now allow certified pilots to operate the X8, facilitating its adoption in large-scale infrastructure inspections, particularly in the energy sector.
