Rigetti Computing Delays General Availability of 108-Qubit Quantum System Cepheus-1-108Q to Q1 2026
QUANTUM COMPUTING
Rigetti Computing has postponed the general availability of its 108-qubit quantum system, Cepheus™-1-108Q, to the end of Q1 2026 due to challenges with tunable couplers that require further optimization. The system, which boasts a median two-qubit gate fidelity of 99% and aims for 99.5%, will be the largest modular quantum computing system in the industry, built from twelve 9-qubit chiplets. Rigetti continues to provide quantum computing services through its Rigetti Quantum Cloud Services platform for various clients.
