Riverlane Establishes Quantum Error Correction Hub in Delft, Appointing Professor Barbara Terhal as Lead

QUANTUM COMPUTING

Riverlane has launched its first European hub for quantum error correction (QEC) in Delft, Netherlands, appointing Professor Barbara Terhal as a Riverlane Fellow. This hub, located at the House of Quantum, will focus on applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to enhance QEC technologies, specifically developing tools for Riverlane's Deltaflow and Deltakit platforms.

The establishment of this hub is part of Riverlane's commitment to the European quantum ecosystem and will strengthen collaborations with Dutch companies such as Qblox, Quantware, and Orange Quantum Systems. The initiative aims to accelerate progress toward utility-scale quantum computing by overcoming challenges in QEC.
