Romania's Energy Minister confirmed that the country has sufficient natural gas reserves to withstand the forecasted cold winter, with temperatures potentially reaching -20°C, and indicated that gas prices are unlikely to rise after the removal of a compensation scheme. Additionally, Romania plans to modernize 15 kilometers of road in Ukraine and is investing EUR 100 million in the restoration of Bucharest's Gara de Nord train station, while air traffic remains unaffected by winter conditions.
