Russia Commissions 677.6 MW of Renewable Energy Capacity in 2025
SOLAR ENERGY
In 2025, Russia added 677.58 MW of renewable energy capacity, up from 445.4 MW in 2024. Key projects included solar and wind power plants in Krasnodar, Chechnya, Dagestan, and Samara. The majority of this capacity was installed in Q4 2025, with solar plants contributing 171.4 MW and wind plants 371.25 MW.
