Russia Exports €7.2 Billion LNG to Europe via Jamal Terminal in 2022

In 2022, Russia exported €7.2 billion worth of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Europe via the Jamal terminal, which accounted for nearly 15% of the EU's total LNG imports. Despite new EU legislation aimed at phasing out Russian gas imports by 2026, over 76% of the 19.7 million tons of LNG from Jamal was sent to European ports, with France and Belgium being the largest recipients.
