Russia Maintains Status as Turkey's Top Supplier of Gas and Oil Products
FUSION & ADVANCED NUCLEAR POWERNATURAL GAS
Russia remains Turkey's largest supplier of natural gas, oil, and petroleum products, as confirmed by discussions between Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar. The two officials reviewed ongoing cooperation in the energy sector, including the supply of electricity and the construction of Turkey's first nuclear power plant, Akkuyu NPP. Long-term gas contracts with Turkish state company Botas are set to expire in 2025, but recent agreements have extended supplies into 2026.
