Russia's RS-28 Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile is scheduled to enter its final flight test phase in 2026, paving the way for its deployment with the Strategic Missile Forces in the Krasnoyarsk region. Designed to replace the aging R-36M2 Voevoda, the Sarmat features enhanced propulsion, guidance, and payload flexibility, aiming to improve survivability against modern missile defenses.
