QUANTUM COMPUTING
Russian scientists have unveiled a 70-qubit quantum computer prototype in Moscow, achieving 99.98% operational accuracy for single-qubit operations and 96.1% for two-qubit operations. Developed under Rosatom's Quantum Project, this advancement is part of a broader effort to scale quantum computing, with the Lebedev Physical Institute aiming to create a medium-scale quantum computer by 2030. Meanwhile, other BRICS nations are also making strides in quantum technologies.
