Rwanda and Ethiopia Strengthen Trade and Infrastructure Cooperation

Rwanda is committed to enhancing trade and infrastructure collaboration with Ethiopia, recognizing historical military support during Rwanda's past crises. Ambassador Charles Karamba highlighted the evolution of this relationship, which includes a joint military commission and the recent signing of multiple memorandums of understanding.

Economic ties are also growing, with Rwandan exports nearing $6 million and Ethiopian exports exceeding $7 million. Approximately 40 Ethiopian companies operate in Rwanda with investments over $73 million, indicating a balanced trade relationship.
