RWE Supply & Trading has signed a 20-year agreement with Texas LNG Brownsville for the supply of one million tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas from a new export facility in Texas, with deliveries set to begin in 2030. This marks RWE's second long-term LNG contract from the U.S., following a previous agreement with Sempra Infrastructure. The Texas LNG facility aims to be among the lowest-emitting terminals globally, focusing on greenhouse gas emissions monitoring.
