SaskEnergy Allocates $60 Million for Upgrade of Unity Compressor Station

SaskEnergy has announced a $60 million upgrade project for the 65-year-old Unity Compressor Station in Saskatchewan, which is vital for the province's natural gas system. The enhancements will include new high-efficiency compressor units and improved safety systems, as part of a broader investment strategy totaling $176 million for system growth and $132 million for capital improvements. The project is set to begin site preparation in summer 2025, with completion expected by November 2026, all while maintaining uninterrupted service.
