Schemmer and Lockwood Development to Construct Mixed-Use Building at 72nd and Farnam in Omaha

DEFENSE

A five-story mixed-use building will be built at 72nd and Farnam Streets in Omaha, featuring 176 apartments and 5,000 sq ft of commercial space. Completion is expected by late 2026. The project aims to revitalize the area, which includes the new Omaha Public Library and the Crossroads redevelopment. In addition, Omaha is experiencing road closures due to the streetcar project, affecting several streets.
