Mike Luers and volunteers are raising funds for the Yukon #2469 Mission to locate a U.S. Air Force C-54 Skymaster lost in 1950. The plane vanished on January 26, 1950, with 44 people aboard, including 42 soldiers and a mother with her child.

The search was abandoned due to harsh conditions, and the plane was deemed an operational loss. Project Recover is assisting with fundraising to utilize advanced technologies for the search, which is estimated to cost $215,000 for the first phase.
