Seplat Energy Plc has initiated gas production from its Assa North-Ohaji South (ANOH) project in Imo State, supplying gas to Indorama's petrochemical plant following an approved offtake agreement. The project, which includes the reactivation of four wells and the completion of an 11 km gas export pipeline, enhances Seplat's gas processing capacity to over 850 million standard cubic feet per day. Current production is reported at 40-52 MMscfd, with plans for additional sales to Nigeria LNG.
