Seventeen American LNG tankers are set to arrive in Greece in the first quarter of 2026, delivering over 11 terawatt-hours of gas to meet Southeast Europe's needs, particularly in the Balkans and Bulgaria. Key infrastructure in Revithoussa and Alexandroupolis will facilitate these shipments, with the FSRU Alexandroupolis already receiving five cargoes since August 2025. However, planned maintenance from April to June may impact supply routes to Bulgaria via the IGB pipeline.
