Shoreline Foundation is conducting piling tests for the Naples Pier reconstruction, following a $23.5 million contract. Demolition of the damaged pier began on January 6, 2023, and construction is expected to take 18 months.

The new design includes larger pilings to enhance resilience. The project faced delays, with final permits and funding from FEMA secured in late 2022, totaling over $12.6 million.
